Hanauma

Hanauma Bay

Hanauma

So I heard about this bay called Hanauma which is located south of Honolulu. Like most of Hawaii, the bay is actually an old volcanic cinder cone which had eroded over time causing the pacific ocean to flood in. It is now an amazing sea-life sanctuary with coral reefs and an abundance of fish to make it a top notch snorkeling location. Due to the popularity, they limit the number people allowed down onto the beach – so word to the wise – GET THERE EARLY. This picture was taken on the way down and is a 3 part panoramic.  Canon 5D MkIII – 24-70mm.
