Sunset at Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach

The last shot of the day. Traveled up to the north shore and made a point of getting to sunset beach for at least one sunset shot. Cliche? Hey at least I can say now that i’ve done it! The ocean is quite calm up there in summer; I’d love to see the swell in winter! None the less, found a place to watch the light fade over the horizon. Here’s my final capture of the night. Canon 5D MkIII – 24-70mm.

The 12 Apostles (or 6 now) are something that I have had on my ‘shoot list’ for a while now. I just hadn’t had the time or motivation to get down there! Well, this week I was playing tourist guide (a not very good one I might add) for a friend of mine and the…
