Québec Lights

Quebec Lights

We wanted a white Christmas in 2012… so headed to Québec City, Canada. We got what we asked for! We had to try twice to fly in there; with the first attempt getting close but being turned around at the last minute due to severe snow storms. About 3 days of traveling wasn’t getting our holiday off to a great start! Eventually got in there on a turbo prop plane (another story all together) and were greeted with about a meter or more of snow that had fallen from the storm over the last few days. While we were there, I dont think it snowed again; had perfect days. This shot was taken towards the end of the trip of a small little street called Rue du Petit Champlain, Québec. It was lit up so nicely at night. Canon 7D 24-70 mm

Probably one of the most photographed spots in melbourne by budding photographers – me included! Ventured down to Princess Pier in Port Melbourne in late April to play around with my new toy for the year – the 5D mark iii. This is one of the shots I took on the night.

  • Uluru

I was lucky enough to get up to the Northern Territory for a quick 4 day escape in November. Uluru (Ayres Rock) has always been on my photo bucket list, so I was pretty excited to be able to see it in person. It is huge! A lot bigger than I thought it was anyway….
